The nearly 500,000-square-foot Weston Centre has secured three new tenants in November.
The companies that made up these three leases included accounting firm Groves-Alexander Group, L.P., the Robert J. Kleberg, Jr. and Helen C. Kleberg Foundation and SPS DGTL, a technology start-up specializing in digital communications and social care.
The Groves-Alexander Group will occupy 3,301 square feet while SPS DGTL will move to Weston Centre early next year from its current office at Travis Park Plaza and will occupy 3,874 square feet on the building’s 3rd floor.
“We have outgrown our current space, but we are excited to be staying in vibrant downtown San Antonio,” said Chase Conner, senior director at SPS DGTL.
The Kleberg Foundation will take 149 square feet on the building’s 10th floor.
The leases come on the heels of Weston Centre investing over $1 million in tenant amenities to the building’s third floor. Called the Club Level, the new amenities include a conference room, fitness center and rooftop terrace. The Business Journal was given a tour of the Club Level before it opened in September.
“The addition of these new tenants speaks to the strength of the downtown economy,” said Mona Ghawi, president of Weston Properties, LC. “We continue to invest in our building to attract businesses and organizations from a variety of different industries.”
The 32-story Weston Centre at 112 E. Pecan St. is currently 87 percent occupied.
