As more tenants are returning to the building, we want to reassure everyone that we are doing everything we can to provide a safe and healthy environment. We would like to re-share and also give an update on all cleaning and safety protocols currently in place.
Face Coverings
The CDC has updated the mask policies to say that fully vaccinated people can resume activities without wearing a mask or physically distancing, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance. While we strongly encourage those tenants who have not yet been vaccinated to continue wearing masks when entering and exiting the building or when in common areas, we will not require or mandate this be done. We will, however, continue to require our staff, vendors, and contractors to wear masks when in tenant spaces, common areas, and restrooms. Our employees also continue to be tested weekly for Covid-19.
Elevators
We recommend that only four people ride in an elevator cab at a time.
Daily And Monthly Cleaning Protocols
Weston Centre’s janitorial staff continues to perform enhanced daily cleaning practices. These are done in high touch and high traffic areas in common areas and tenant suites. Some of these areas include door handles, elevator buttons, restrooms, tables, chairs, and other frequently touched surfaces in the common areas. Surfaces are cleaned using Peroxide Multi Surface Cleaner and Disinfectant (Click to see product specs). There is an additional Day Porter onsite daily who just disinfects high-touch areas in the Lobby and elevator cabs. Each month, common areas in the office building are sprayed with an antimicrobial spray. This monthly practice along with enhanced daily practices will continue indefinitely. If Weston Centre tenants would like, they can contact our cleaning company, True Customer Solutions, to receive quotes for extra services, including added disinfection and antimicrobial spray in their spaces.
Air Filters & UV Lights
MERV 13 Air Filters have been installed throughout the building to help with air quality. These filters are specially designed to trap microns including droplet nuclei (sneeze). UV Lights were also installed to further help with air quality and reduce airborne infectious agents. Using UV Lights in HVAC systems is a great way to kill pathogens and other microorganisms.
Building Access
Effective June 1st, we will re-open all entry doors for both tenant and visitor access. All elevators will remain locked down to the tower unless otherwise requested by a tenant to open up the floor. Tenants are welcome to still have guests visit their offices. We do require that tenants meet their guests in our Main Lobby to give them access to their space if their floor access is locked off.
Conference Room
We will continue to allow only one tenant to use the building conference room each day. This will allow us to fully disinfect the room after each use. It will be up to the individual tenants to decide how many people they will allow for their meetings. Please call Teri Rivas at 210-224-6868, ext. 102 or by email at trivas@westoncentre.com to book the conference room.
Building HVAC
The building HVAC system is back on its normal schedule. The new cooling tower is in place and fully operational.
We are excited to have more of our tenants returning to the building and if we can help in any way or answer any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
