How We’re Keeping Weston Centre Tenants Safe
At Weston Centre, our commitment to providing a safe, clean, and beautiful space along with impressive amenities remains strong.
And as “Downtown’s Best Address,” we continually strive to live up to this name!
With all of the changes in the past year brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, this also means updating our cleaning and safety procedures accordingly.
Some tenants have returned to work but to those who haven’t, we want to assure them we’re going above and beyond in maintaining a safe and healthy space for them. Not only do we follow procedures legally required in San Antonio, but we take extra steps to ensure we consider every detail.
Enhanced Cleaning & Safety Protocols at Weston Centre
To reassure our tenants we are doing everything we can to provide a safe environment, today we’re going to share the enhanced cleaning and safety protocols we use at Weston Centre.
New Air Filters & UV Lights
MERV 13 Air Filters have been installed throughout the building to help with air quality. These filters are specially designed to trap microns including droplet nuclei (sneeze).
UV Lights were also installed to further help with air quality and reduce airborne infectious agents. Using UV Lights in HVAC systems is a great way to kill pathogens and other microorganisms.
Bexar County Executive Order NW-10 requires all employees or visitors to wear face coverings when in an area or performing an activity that will necessarily involve close contact or proximity to co-workers or the public where six feet of separation isn’t possible.
With that in mind, all tenants, visitors, vendors, contractors, and employees must wear face masks in the common areas of Weston Centre. This includes the lobby, elevator, stairwells, and restrooms.
No more than two passengers can ride in each elevator at a time. Passengers must maintain at least six feet apart social distancing when workable and follow best hygiene practices.
Daily and monthly cleaning protocols
Weston Centre’s janitorial staff continues to perform enhanced daily cleaning practices. These are done in high touch and high traffic areas in common areas and tenant suites. Some of these areas include door handles, elevator buttons, restrooms, tables, chairs, and other frequently touched surfaces in the common areas. Surfaces are cleaned using Virex II 256, a disinfectant recommended by the CDC.
Each month, common areas in the office building are sprayed with an antimicrobial spray. This monthly practice along with enhanced daily practices, will continue indefinitely.
If Weston Centre tenants would like, they can contact our cleaning company, True Customer Solutions, to receive quotes for extra services, including added disinfection and antimicrobial spray in their spaces.
We’ll also continue to perform daily temperature checks of Weston Centre courtesy officers, engineers, and management staff who report to work in the building. Additionally, the company that performs our janitorial services will continue to perform daily temperature checks of its personnel.
If any of these employees exhibit any COVID-19 symptoms, Weston Centre requires they stay home.
Closed to the public
Until further notice, Weston Centre remains closed to the public. Tenants and employees can access the building by using their entrance devices. Tenants are welcomed to still have guests visit their offices, and we encourage it. We do require that tenants meet their guests at one of the entrances located in our Main Lobby to allow the guest into the building.

As the situation unfolds, we’ll keep tenants informed about changes to our guidelines and practices. We’ll continue to abide by any guidelines mandated by local governmental entities as we navigate the situation together.
