SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Starting Thursday, April 11th, CommonWealth Coffeehouse & Bakery will begin serving liquor at their Weston Centre location.
This is the first CommonWealth location to serve alcohol. Customers will be able to order cocktails in addition to beer and wine during Happy Hour, held every Monday through Friday between 3pm and 7pm.
Marcel Arana, General Manager at CommonWealth Coffeehouse, thinks the new menu items will help draw more afternoon foot traffic to the Weston location as well as encourage tenants at Downtown San Antonio’s best address to hang out longer after work hours.
“CommonWealth has always been dedicated to building community. Hosting Happy Hour is another way we can bring people together and support the growing social scene of downtown San Antonio,” Arana said.
This initiative also means new business hours for CommonWealth’s Weston location. Previously, the coffeehouse held business from 7am to 5pm, but now it will remain open for another two hours.
“CommonWealth is a tremendous asset to the Weston Centre,” said Mona Mitchell, President of Weston Properties, LC. “They’ve become an integral part of our culture since moving in last year.”
CommonWealth expanded to the Weston Centre in February 2018.
