A Tower Rises on the River Walk

1988-1989

Where the River Walk winds through a city steeped in Spanish colonial charm, something bold and modern emerged in 1988: NBC Bank Plaza. Originally commissioned as the headquarters for NBC Bank, this 32-story skyscraper soared to a commanding height of 444 feet, instantly claiming the title of San Antonio's tallest office building—a distinction it proudly holds to this day.

The Weston Era Begins

1992

A few years after opening, the building’s story shifted. In December 1992, entrepreneur Graham Weston and his family purchased the former NBC Bank Plaza, renaming it Weston Centre. Their vision brought local stewardship and a renewed commitment to downtown San Antonio. It became more than a tower—it became a hub for innovation, community, and legacy.

A Decade of Transformation

2015-2024

In 2015, Weston Centre began a bold transformation with a renovated lobby and modern art. A state-of-the-art fitness center followed in 2017, elevating the tenant experience.

In 2021, Weston Common debuted as a 12,500-square-foot urban plaza, alongside the opening of Commonwealth Coffeehouse. The evolution culminated in 2024 with the Centre Club—an exclusive dining and event space completing Weston Centre’s modern reinvention.

2025

In 2025, Weston Centre entered a new era with a full rebrand—Weston Centre 2.0. A sleek new logo and bold color palette reflect its continued evolution and forward-thinking vision.
