Graham Weston
A native Texan, Graham Weston’s major business achievements center on his ability to recognize opportunities in the marketplace.

When the high-rise at 112 East Pecan Street became a distressed property in the economic downturn in Texas in the late 1990s, Graham Weston led a group of private investors to make a successful bid to purchase the building, re-naming it Weston Centre.

When the building was later re-financed, Weston bought out the other investors and today the building is owned by Graham Weston and several Weston family members.

In addition to Weston Centre and a portfolio of industrial and office properties in Texas, he has built two other successful enterprises.

While at Texas A&M University, Graham Weston started Assessment Technologies, now a nationwide property-tax representation company.

The second company is Rackspace Managed Hosting, one of the largest managed hosting companies in the world, which he invested in as a startup in 1998. Its intense focus on service to customers has enabled it to thrive despite the turbulence of the technology industry. Today, Rackspace employs close to 1,000 people and operates data centers in Texas, Washington, DC, and London, England.
